Remote video conference on“The role and influence of international organizations on world higher education policy”,  which was jointly hosted by “innovation management & sustainable competitiveness research” national philosophy and social science innovation base and World universities net (WUN) successfully opened on 14th May in room number 701 in Yu Quan library. Famous experts and graduate students from Oxford University in Britain, Bristol University, University of Sheffield, University of Southampton, University of Wisconsin, United States, and Zhejiang University attended this conference.
    Professor Robert Malee Bassett from University of Southampton made a theme speech entitled “The Historical role and reality impact of international organizations on world higher education policy”. Professor Robert specifically introduced the nature, purpose, activities of international organizations like UNESCO and OECD and specifically analyzed their function and impact on world higher education policy.
    Scholars and graduate students participating in the conference conducted warm discussion on this theme which further helps them understand the relationship between international organizations and world higher education policy.
