On  May 20^th, 2007, as one part of the celebration of Zhejiang University's 110th anniversary, the Office of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang University and research institutes, School of Management, national philosophy and social science research base, and School of mechanism jointly hosted the summit forum of "independent innovation and Zhejiang mechanical engineering".   Academician Zhu GaoFeng, Zhu Jue, Gao Jinji, Ruan Xueyu, Zhou Qinzhi, Pan Jingfu, Zhou Qinzhi with scholar leaders and more than 200 teachers and students attended the forum.

    Professor Wu Xiaobo and Li wei, Cai Guoning hosted the theoretical speech presentations. Professor Zhu Gaofeng made a speech of “Several problems in independent innovation”. Professor Zhong Jue made a speech of “Competitive Success -- Product Innovation Design ”and so on.

    NIIM Professor Xu Qinrui gave lecture about “Total Innovation Management”. Those wonderful presentations won warm applause from the audience.

    Following the lectures, Professor Chen Zichen hosted a round table conference, in which professors warmly discussed on wide subjects related to innovation. After that, Professor Chen Zichen expressed sincere gratitude to the support and care given by the academicians and experts.
