University Reconstruction In the context of globalization” which was jointly hold by ”Research Institute for Innovation Education and Entrepreneurship sprits” of NIIM and World Universities Net(WUN) successfully opened at room 706 of Yuquan library on May 25^th. Experts and students from Oxford University, Bristol University, University of Sheffield, University of Southampton, University of Wisconsin, the branch school of the University of Illinois, Champaign and Zhejiang University attended this conference.

    Professor Michael Peters and Fazal Rizivi of the branch school of the University of Illinois made theme speech on “University Reconstruction In the context of globalization”. Based on the interpretation on the content and tasks of university, Professor Michael Peters and Fazal Rizivi made analysis and comparisons between modern universities and post modern universities. The two professors also specifically answered the problems raised from the present audience about the categories, goals, tasks and the operations of post modern universities in the context of globalization.
