Recently, NIIM received bumper harvests in 2007 applying projects programmed by social science of Zhejiang Province after comment and approval of experts from leader group of Social Science Development and Programming in Zhejiang Province. Professor Wu Xiaobo’s project “On Open Innovation Mode and Countermeasures of Corporations in Zhejiang Province under Background of Globalization” and Professor Chen’s project “Research of Policy Supporting System of ‘Whole Innovation’ Mode in Zhejiang Province” are approved as the key projects. And nine projects are also approved as general projects. These could be regarded as double breakthrough in aspects of quality and quantity. All the projects are designed for resolving important theories and realistic problems during innovating and enterprising period, showing the spirit of “Towering from Earth to Sky” of NIIM, and serving local economy development.
