Survey of development and innovation of China Manufacture Industry under the global value network in Qingdao and Beijing by Professor Wu Xiaobo Delegation

From Jan. 21 to 25, 2008, Professor Wu Xiaobo, Dean of NIIM, Professor Jag Srai, Manufacture Institute of Cambridge University, Professor Shi Yongjiang and the delegation visited some famous enterprises and relevant government department in Qingdao and Beijing for survey of “Research of China Manufacture Industry under the Global Value Network”.

Through the survey, the delegation collected the first information of problems and challenges of China manufacture enterprises under the global value network which would help the delegation put forward suggestions and countermeasures by combining the experience in global practice of China manufacture enterprises. The survey also received high attention and great support from International Cooperation Department of National Science and Technology Ministry and English Embassy.

The delegation also included experts such as Zhan Hongqi, Zhao Gang, Rapela Zaman, Katy Fu, Laurence Jia and etc.

The list of survey units included Haier Group, Hisense Group, Qingdao Economy and Trade Committee, Qingdao Foreign Trade Department, Development and Research Center of State Department, International Cooperation Department of National Science and Technology Ministry and etc..
