On Mar. 9, 2008, Professor Ronald Rousseau, world-famous informetrics expert, visited NIIM by invitation. Professor Ronald Rousseau would visit NIIM, give lectures and communicate with NIIM members for a month. The main research fields of Professor Ronald Rousseau are bibliometrics, scientometrics, informetrics, webometrics and etc.. During the visit, Professor Ronald Rousseau would give lectures for teachers and students of NIIM and cooperate with them on the issue how to apply scientometrics in the research of domestic and abroad innovation management.
