As one part of IDRC projects “Improve Innovative Capability of Small Enterprises by Exerting the Theory of Whole Innovation and Management”, Academician Xu Ruiqing, Senior Adviser of NIIM, visited Sunyard System Engineering Co., Ltd. on Mar. 24, 2008. As the biggest developer and producer of financial and security software products in domestic market, Sunyard have made lots of achievements. Board Chairman Guo Huaqiang, Vice-chairman Wei Zhishan and Chen Kailin shared with Academician Xu the history and evolvement of different phase during the past decades.
Academician Xu Ruiqing affirmed technical innovation achievement of Sunyard, pointed out that bottleneck of system, culture and management would appear in Sunyard, and put forward that the importance of effective implements of whole innovation and management as the breakthrough of this bottleneck and the way to improve independent and innovative capability. During the visit, both sides agreed on the primary cooperation framework and confirmed the cooperation content of technological management, innovation and enterprising, strategic research and etc. aiming at the existing problems of Sunyard during the implement of diversification and internationalization strategy.
