Professor Wang Jing of Warwick University visited NIIM by invitation on October 13, 2008 and would have a one-month visit to NIIM and exchange and cooperation and would share lectures. Professor Wu Xiaobo, Director of NIIM warmly received visiting Professor Wang Jing, and had full exchange on research areas which they interested in.
During the visit, Professor Wang Jing will also participate in conference of CICALICS 2008. Professor Wang will also train doctoral students and young teachers with other well-known domestic and foreign scholars in the field of innovation and other forefront research at that time and express in-depth and detailed comments for reports submitted by the participants.
In addition, Professor Wang Jing will share his lecture entitled “Writing Skills for Top International Journals” in Conference Room of NIIM during 14:00-16:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 (Wednesday) and welcome teachers and students to attend the lecture.
Introduction of Professor Wang Jing:
Professor Wang Jing graduated from Warwick Business School of Warwick University, and received a doctoral degree, is now professor in study of marketing and innovation in Warwick Business School. Professor Wang Jing’s main area of research is marketing research methods, research on consumers’ will of purchase of high-risk and high return and revolutionary innovation products, co-evolution of consumer learning and corporate strategies and ability, customer relationship marketing in services sector, innovation capability and brand strategy of China High-tech enterprises. In addition, Professor Wang Jing is one of the important editors of several international top academic journals such as SMJ, Research Policy and so on at the same time.
