The 3rd Management Annual Meeting hosted by China Management Modernization Research Association was held in Changsha during Nov. 1-2. The meeting was undertaken by Central South University Business School. The topic of this Annual Meeting is “China’s reality and International view”. The international hot, difficult and forward-looking issues existing in home and abroad were discussed. Especially the future and development about Chinese Management Research was discussed in the conference.
A group of well-known domestic and foreign scholars attended the meeting including well-known economist Cheng Siwei, academician of Central South University He Jishan, Tsinghua University Professor Zhao Chunjun, Nankai University Professor Li Weian, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University professors XI Youmin, Nanjing University Professor Zhao Shuming, Zhejiang University, Professor Wang chongming, Xi'an Jiaotong University Professor Li Yuan, the academician of the United States Academy of Engineering Daniel Berg. More than 800 experts, scholars and entrepreneurs attended the meeting who come from the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. Executive deputy director, Professor Chen Jin and some doctor students in NIIM of Zhejiang University were also invited to participate in the conference and make academic exchanges. The General Assembly as a platform provided students with first-rate scholar exchanges, communication and cooperation, moreover, provided opportunities for doctors to know the latest developments, the latest research methods and expand their horizon of learning vision.
The meeting consisted of main report, professional report and paper discussion. There were 11 venues, involved in the management of science and engineering, organization and strategy, organizational behavior and human resources management, accounting and finance, operation management, marketing, information management, public administration, venture and SMEs management, technology and Innovation management seminar. Professor Chen Jin was invited and presided over the forum of ‘venture and SMEs management’. He gave a speech called ‘learning model under open innovation environment’ and put forward that open innovation was the new mode for Chinese enterprises. Professor Chen Jin's points of view had been widely accepted and given high evaluation and attention by attending scholars.
