The Zhejiang Merchant - KPMG - Zhejiang University Forum, which is jointly hosted by NIIM, The Zhejiang Merchant Union, and KPMG Hangzhou Office, held on May 30, 2008 in the conference room of NIIM on Zijingang Campus.
 Professor Wu Xiaobo, director of NIIM, made the welcoming remarks, and has shared report of  "Development of The Zhejiang Merchant and Cooperation with Universities under New Situation"; Dr. Zheng Gang also introduced NIIM’s achievement on academic research, foreign exchange and social services and etc. in recent years, and expressed the hope to strengthen research cooperation; KPMG partner, Mr. Xu Min, Finance Advisory of KPMG Hangzhou office shared his lecture of " Concerns in Foreign Investment and Corresponding Solutions"; Zhao Haiyan, General Manager of DayunYintong Digital Technology Company, proposed practical problems in the investigation of capital increase co-operation; professionals and other experts of KPMG and the United Kingdom Cadence securities also gave their comments and exquisite strokes solution.
The forum achieved good results with its focused theme and in-depth discussions and fruitful will of cooperation. The forum also laid a good foundation for the cooperation of powerful alliances of NIIM and The Zhejiang Merchant and KPMG, and further strengthened social services and the radiation power of NIIM.
