On Sept. 26^th-29th, Prof. Chen Jin (Executive Deputy Director of NIIM and Executive Director of Undergraduate School of Zhejiang University) and some postgraduates are invited to exchange and share on management and innovation with Yu Zida, Deputy CEO of Haier and Wang Xi, R&D Director of Haier.

In the morning of Sept.27^th, Prof. Chen Jin and the postgraduates arrive in Haier. Wang Xi and Wang Haijun (Deputy Director of Standardization Office) introduce their achievements on innovation as well as R&D, especially in No-tail TV’s access to American high-end market, worldwide salability of Six-door refrigerator and national salability of intelligent household. In the afternoon, Prof. Chen gives a speech on “Enterprise Innovation Exploration”, in which international trend and model of innovation development is mentioned. The innovation pattern of HP, Apple and SIEMENS are especially pointed and some constructive suggestions for Haier are also put forward.

On Sept.28^th, Prof. Chen and postgraduates group investigate Haier in Industry-College-Institute process, IP Management, Standardization, and Intelligent Household. The two sides agree to cooperate in 3 aspects in the future:

1 To Establish expert database and platform, to help Haier or other enterprises to integrate external resources.

2 Balance of internal resources and external resources, as well as benefits distribution mechanism.

3 To help Innovation of Haier Black Home Appliance and strengthen customer drive innovation.
