Deputy Director of NIIM, Professor Chen Jin was invited to attend the "converging Asia- the research & development and technological reform in China" forum which was jointly organized by Sweden Lund University, East and Southeast Asia Research Center . Scholars of science and technology innovation com from The USA, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and China made discussion on the current situation and future development of Chinese R&D. Professor Chen Jin made a speech entitled “Chinese industrial innovation system”, deeply analyzing the innovation of China . Scholars present pointed out in union that Chinese innovation is in its rapid development, however in the future it should be further enhanced in the coordination of the development of innovation-oriented country and the deve-lopment of harmonious society, and pay more attention to the effectiveness of globalization to  innovation as well as intensify the capacity building of collaborative innovation and cross -border innovation. Rising the national soft powers including human resource base and innovative space planning capacity is the important strategic trend of future Chinese technology innovation.
