The first Chinese service innovation seminar grandly opened at Tinghua University on April 12. This seminar was the first academic seminar for the  scholars of domestic service innovation, which has the effect of helping conclude the current innovation situation of domestic service industry, promoting the launch of the research on domestic service innovation as well as promoting the communication and interaction among scholars so as to form research net of service innovation and find the future development direction of the research and practice of 645057kcit domestic service innovation.

    This seminar was hosted by RCTI, School of Economic Management Technical and Economic Management of Tinghua University, Graduate Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Technology Innovation Management Research Center and Retail research center of Tsinghua University. Professor Wei Jiang, the Vice director of NIIM and some famous scholars in service innovation areas including Wu Guisheng, Liu Yulin, Li Fei, etc., attended this seminar and made special reports. Related political officials, project managers of enterprises innovative service development, students of MBA, graduates students majored in related also attended this seminar.

    Professor Wei Jiang attended and made a theoretical report entitled "The research of current innovation situation of Chinese knowledge-intensive service industries ". Though the statistical analysis of the questionnaire of about 700 Chinese knowledge-intensive service firms, Professor Wei Jiang concluded the situation of the innovation  in domestic knowledge-incentive firms, the distribution of innovation types and innovation obstacles. He specifically analyzed  the current characteristics of innovation mechanism and their reasons, and the direction of investment on innovation, the origination of innovative knowledge, innovative collaborators as well as the interact between KIBS and clines of the four industries of knowledge-incentive service, which are financial services, ICT, IT services and business services. The wonderful speech given by Professor Wei Jiang aroused enthusiastic response from the audience. The seminar successfully ended with the initiative of “Chinese scholars service innovation network”sponsored by Professor Wu Guisheng.
