Professor Wu Xiaobo, Vice President of the School of Management of Zhejiang University as well as Director of NIIM was invited to attend 2008 Global Innovation Trend Summit held in Shanghai and delivered theme speech which aroused enthusiastic response during Sept. 18-19, 2008.
The Summit Forum was hosted by Group of IEG American, which is the world's leading supplier of innovative software. The Forum invited Zion Bar-EI, senior master of the I-TRIZ as well as president of Ideation Corporation of the United States, Boris Zlotin, one of the inventors of TRIZ theory, Dr. Philip J. Browne, former director of the Department of Management of Boeing Corporation as well as director of Laikesinuo Human Resources, Dr. Zhang Rujing of SMIC Shanghai International Limited, Dr. Michael Chiang, vice-chairman of American IEG Group as well as senior expert and other guests. Over 200 experts and scholars from domestic and foreign industry, academia and government departments attended the forum. Dr. Zheng Gang and other 10 doctoral students and graduate students also participated in the forum.
Professor Wu’s theme speech aroused great response. After speech, Professor Wu answered the questions the attending guests asked actively, and Professor Wu had become one of the favorable guests who was the most interactive and had the strongest reaction on that day.
