Professor Wu Xiaobo attends International Manufacturing Conference in Cambridge University

Professor Wu Xiaobo, Vice President of the School of Management as well as Director of NIIM, Professor Guo Bin and Professor Shou Yongyi attended "The Thirteenth Session of International Manufacturing Conference in Cambridge," and "The Fourth Session of International Conference of Global Manufacturing and China" during September 25-27, 2008. Professor Wu Xiaobo and Professor Mike Gregory of Cambridge co-chaired "The Fourth Session of International Conference of Global Manufacturing and China" and Professor Guo Bin made a speech to the General Assembly and Shou Yongyi presided over the sub conference. "The Fifth Session of International Conference of Global Manufacturing and China" would be held in ZhejiangUniversity in September of next year.
During the visit, Professor Wu Xiaobo discussed with Professor Mike Gregory, the president of Institute for Manufacturing of Cambridge University and Professor Shi Yongjiang, Zhejiang University's Special Yongqian visiting professor, on the further cooperation of scientific research and teaching of "Zhejiang University - Cambridge University Globalization Manufacturing and Innovation Management Joint Research Center". Moreover, they agreed on the project of DMS-based Global High Value Added Value Network Research, joint application for projects, Co-training doctors and graduates and other issues.
