On Nov.1^st and 3^rd, SIID project team, including Wu Xiaobo, Gu Shulin, Huang Zuhui, Guo Bin, Shou Yongyi, Ye Chunhui, Hu Ruifa and 4 Ph.D. students, attend the 8^th GLOBELICS Symposium 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

GLOBELICS 2010, held by University of Malaya, designs a sub-symposium for SIID called “Exclusion and institutions in innovation: Rural India and China”. In the sub-symposium, Gu Shulin, Sun Huaping, Rajeswari S. Raina and K. J. Joseph deliver reports, which are presided and commented by Prof. Richard R. Nelson, Master of evolutionary economics from Columbia University.

4 Ph.D. students who attend the symposium have been sponsored by symposium committee, and they exchange ideas with other Ph.D. students from other countries on their own research area.
