Phoenix Network: jointly planed by Ministry of Science and Technology and Shanghai Government, the 3rd Pujiang Innovation Forum is held in Shanghai on Nov. 6th and 7th. During this forum, Prof. Wu Xiaobo, Deputy Executive Dean of School of Management, shows that “China needs a large amount of merger and acquisition (M&A) talents in the future” on sub-forum of “Enterprise Innovation Path: Innovation and Enterprise Competitiveness”.
Prof. Wu also shows that one of the bottlenecks in innovation in China is insufficient talents in global operating network, especially M&A talents. He reveals that Zhejiang University has conducted some access to solve this problem, such as cooperation with leading business schools in the world.
On enterprise’s innovation, he thinks preempting the commanding heights seems important; in this way, some “smart people” need to do some “silly things” rather than real estate investment or angel investment. An important global industrial technology paradigm is undergoing revolutionary change, which is truly a big chance for pursuers.
