Prof. Chris Carr and Dr. Liu Ling from University of Edinburgh share research findings on enterprise internationalization and performance with teachers and students in School of Management.

This afternoon, 56^th innovation management forum, so called 15^th academic salon of Department of Management Science and Engineering is held in Meeting Room 1102. Prof. Chris Carr and Dr. Liu Ling from University of Edinburgh deliver a speech on “Geographic diversification and performance: a long time global perspective revisiting the case of domestic appliances”. According to cases of HP, Electrolux, Haier and other home appliance enterprises in and broad, they analyze correlation relationship between geographical diversification and performance through secondary analysis and international field research. They conclude that world electrical appliances industry trends to be centralized after years’ development and evolution, and that the leading electrical appliances enterprises in the world have superior geographical diversification capability or internationalization strategy.

After the reports, some teachers and students have a discussion on internationalization strategy, family enterprise etc. with Prof. Chris Carr and Dr. Liu Ling.
