On Nov. 6^th, Prof. Chen Jin, Deputy Executive Dean of Undergraduate School of Zhejiang University, and Deputy Director of NIIM, is invited to Hasselt University. On the project “Based on the internationalization of R&D: open innovation theory construction and empirical research” (NSFC70810107021), sponsored by National Natural Science Funds, Prof. Chen and Prof. Wim Vanhaverbeke, well-known open innovation expert, exchange the achievements and problems in the front stage and make plan of next year.

Symposium of Open Innovation and R&D Internationalization is held by the two sides. Prof. Chen is one of the chairmen of this symposium. He delivers a speech on “R&D Globalization: a Chinese perspective”. What’s more, during his visit in Hasselt University, Prof. Chen discusses cooperation and other related issues with Prof. Piet PAUWELS (Dean of School of Economics and Management, Hasselt University) and Mr. Maarten Sileghem (Technology Innovation Official in Belgium).
