On Nov. 15 to 17, 2011, Prof. Wu Xiaobo, Deputy Executive Dean of School of Management and Director of NIIM, Associate Professor Shou Yongyi, Associate Professor Zhou Weihua, Associate Professor Jin Jun and Associate Professor Ye Chunhui participate grand symposium of 9^th Globelics, jointly held by Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento (UNGS), Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (UNQ) and Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM) in Buenos eli, Argentina.

In session of “Promoting social inclusiveness and sustainable development innovation”, Prof. Wu Xiaobo proposes some political suggestions on social inclusiveness and sustainable development innovation according to inclusive growth experience in .

As the Chair of 10^th Globelics in 2012, Prof. Wu introduces of and NIIM of Zhejiang University, and strengthens publicity of 10^th Globelics held in in 2012. Many experts show interests in taking part in 10^th Globelics.

On Nov. 17, 2011, Prof. Wu and his team introduce the plan of Globelics Conference 2012 and share organization experiences and precautions with conference coordinator of part.

Besides, Prof. Wu discusses research cooperation, students’ cultivation and projects with Prof. Lundvall (founder of Globelics, former chair, and present secretary-general of Globelics), Prof. Nelson (famous evolution economists), Prof. Malerba (well-known expert of industry innovation system) and IDRC Official Ms. Heloise Emdon.

Globelics is one of the largest symposiums on innovation management and innovation policy, establishing a platform on sharing and exchanging experiences on innovation system construction of developing countries.

The subject of 9^th Globelics is “Creativity, Innovation and Economic Development: Building Sustainable Innovation Systems in the Globalizing Learning Economy”, targeting at promoting innovation system construction and innovation management of developing countries. More than 600 experts all around the world take part in this symposium. On Nov. 9 to 11, 2012, 10^th Globelics will be held by , University with subject of “Innovation and Development: Opportunities and Challenges in Globalization”.
