Professor Xiaobo Wu from the National Institute for Innovation Management at Zhejiang University (NIIM-ZJU) visited Austria this month. During his visit, he had a meaningful meeting with Alexander G. Welzl, President of the China Data Analysis and Research Center (CDA), aimed at strengthening the collaboration between the two institutions and exploring future opportunities for cooperation.
Professor Xiaobo Wu expressed the importance NIIM-ZJU places on collaborations with international partners, especially with authoritative institutions like CDA. He expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the meeting and looks forward to achieving more fruitful results in their cooperation.
Mr. Alexander G. Welzl expressed his willingness to deepen institutional and intellectual bonds as well as building a bridge between Vienna and Hangzhou. He believes that the collaboration between the two institutions will bring new opportunities and challenges to the research field and is confident in future cooperation.
Following the meeting, Professor Xiaobo Wu and Mr. Alexander G. Welzl signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of their respective institutions. Both parties agreed to jointly promote scientific research and academic exchanges, strengthen exchange between faculty members, students, researchers, enhance teaching, research, and internationalization cooperation. They also agreed to share academic information and materials, undertake academic projects, participate in domestic and international academic activities, and actively promote scientific and educational cooperation.
The signing of this cooperation agreement marks a new milestone in the collaboration between the National Institute for Innovation Management at Zhejiang University (NIIM-ZJU) and the China Data Analysis and Research Center (CDA) in Austria. It promises increased opportunities and growth in research and academic exchanges for both parties.
The China Data Analysis Research Center was established in March 2020 with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria. It serves as a non-partisan and non-profit think tank in Central Europe, comprising leading academic institutions, scholars from Europe, China, and other regions, as well as experts from industry and government sectors. Mr. Alexander G. Welzl, the President of CDA, is an internationally renowned scientist in the fields of biology, environmental science, innovation research, capital markets, digitization, and sustainable development. He possesses nearly 30 years of experience in academia, business, finance, and government sectors.
